Meralygos

Meralygos is a young blue dragon. His sinuous form, adorned with scales and runes alike, is serpentine and reptilesque, yet it doesn't lack a certain nobility. He is blue as the ocean itself. Two slick wings spread from the creature's back: they share a sapphire shade, similar to the sky. The wings are well-attached to the body, which is clad in blue scales. If enlighten by the Sun, a faint shimmer shines through from them, almost changing their color to a silvery tone. The scales, however, do not cover the entire body: a careful inspection at the elbows and at the back would reveal small spikes of crystals emerging from otherwise vulnerable spots. Four shimmering runes have been inscribed on the initial part of the legs and a fifth one can be found on the back. The long neck offers no decoration but itself and its sapphire scales. The muzzle of the reptile is not entirely covered by scales either. Several natural decorations enrich the young dragon: three grown spikes emerge from the back of the head and a little horn stands atop of the muzzle, between the two lateral cavities of the nose. His bright, amber eyes appear to share the very depths of the sea, gifting the reptile a semblance of dignity and nobility - an active mind lies beneath these eyes. A closer inspection would reveal a peculiar trait: upon the head of the drake, a sapphire gem has been engraven into its very skin!
