1. TOOLS 1.1 DRAGONFORM. I’m keeping draconic models that you can use for a long time. Avoid using the black whelp transformation (or any black dragon form) – Wrathion’s purge being the reason.
Was there really any doubt? Perfect for azure dragon role-playing and perhaps even the cause of such an enormous rise of the very dragonRP. The fact it looks like a female model might annoy a few, on the other hand. (Also note: you can use Reflecting Prism to take the appearance of a Tarecgosa model and use the dragonform indoor and cast spells as a dragon).
A second option. Compared to Tarecgosa, models are more masculine. If you are standing away from other role-players around you, your mortal character will be mostly hidden and less visible, then you could go for it. But if they are near you this model might not work as the rider stands out a lot.
Yes, doable. Proto-dragons could be a replacement for certain mounts due to the fact the passenger is less visible and are more dragon-like. For example, if you want to role-play a green dragon, given how difficult the green mount is, this might be an option. You’ll have to live deformed model however. Perhaps your face has been wounded?
1.2 DRACONIC RAIMENTS: When travelling around the cities, considering you are disguised, don’t use them. Your clothes should not reveal your form – you are damnit disguised! Therefore, when disguised, try to avoid those who are a clear reference to your identity. Use a subtle reference, if you wish (like a weapon). However, when you are grouped with other dragons, even your humanoid form may wish to actually wear something that indicates your true identity. There are hundreds of items. You can view them in the WoW post i linked above. 1.3 Your class: You can go most of the classes. Perhaps the best class is a mage. You have arcane and frost spells – a blue dragon’s very repertory. You can also attain Tarecgosa. However, with some creativity and immagination, anything is possible. There is a toy in Hellfire – Dazzling Rod – that allows you to throw arcane spheres. Then there is a lot of stuff that changes your appearance. Also, you could go for a warrior (enchant your gear) or a hunter (you may even get a mage hunter pet!). Keep in mind: I’ve never seen a blue dragon use holy magic. You may refrain from abusing such a school! Avoid paladin or shaman if you can. You could go for an (elf) druid perhaps and use arcane and balance spells. Try not to call down the nature however. No treant form for you! ICly, avoid a warlock as a class. Warlocks are exactly what the Blue Dragonflight is against.
1.4 Magic Schools. The Blue Dragonflight knew all the spells on Azeroth. They are, very likely, the race with a greatest affinity to arcane magic and even their youngest members (i.e. Zeros) adept spellweavers. In game, we see the blue dragons using the following schools:
1.5 Your race: Look below at the reputation section. Which faction would you like to be in? The Horde or the Alliance (and arguably the Kirin Tor?). According to Desharin, blue dragons prefer human forms. However, we have seen them taking the form of both gnomes and high elves. Some of them, like Kalec, are half-elves. There is no issue if you turn into a blood elf: if you can transmute your entire body – you can do that with your eyes. You less likely to be a forsaken (how could you? They are dead anyway) or a goblin (greedy individuals that served Deathwing). Or an orc, for all that matters - their culture is rather brutal and violent.
2. The Blue Dragonflight’s Lore See: http://wow.gamepedia.com/Blue_Dragonflight#History for the complete version.
The Nexus: coming Soon™ 3. Important Characters of the Blue Dragonflight: these characters are likely known by your own dragon.
4. CULTURE AND MENTALITY. A duty and a joy!
Behavour. I believe that you will find that my gift to you is not just a profound duty—which it is—but also a delight—which it is! Magic must be regulated, managed, and controlled. But it must also be appreciated and valued and not hoarded. Such is the contradiction you must deal with. May you be dutiful ... and joyous both. - Blessing of the Blue Aspect. Norgannon speech. Blue dragons display an huge variety of personality traits. They are often said to be detached and cold and this may very well be true. Some, like Azuregos, are a bit eccentric and slightly day-dreaming. They are brilliant inventors and creators - and are usually very proud of their creations. This stands as a testment of their studious nature. However, due to this trait, some of them are often slightly elitist. For instance, Arygos, Malygos, Tyrygosa and Eregos are slightly elitist towards lesser races. The very Azuregos seems to be, on occasion. We also see blue dragons that are more friendly towards humanoids, such as Kirygosa, Lanigosa, Tarecgosa or Kalecgos. All blue dragons are not much violent.
4.1 Towards the other races. Historically, blue dragons have had a reputation for spending their days in solitary contemplation of the secrets of the world, but in recent times blue dragons have proved to be more social due to the growing threats to all living creatures. Their approach towards mortals, specificly arcane spellcasters, can vary anywhere from amiable curiosity to outright hostility. Most of the mentioned dragons are shown differing from each other when relating to mortals. A few are corteous and helpful to mortals (see: Haleh, Kalec, Kirygosa). However, most are rather aristocratic, pleased to easily divide themselves from the mortal races due to their greater mind and powers (Tyri, Azuregos, Eregos, Arygos). They might be a bit skeptical of races such as goblins and orc, due to their extremely material values (money, strenght) and overall past (Deathwing’s lackey, enslaving and using dragons).
4.2 Arcane magic affinity: Knowledge, Power, Clever, Inventive, Powerful When you speak of a powerful magical artifact, a Blue Dragon is there. Magic is what mosts concerns the members of the blue dragonflight. Acquiring it, researching it, cataloging it. Blue dragons are masters of the arcane and the wield it with a natural, almost intrinsic, ease. Even the flight's dragonspawn armies are flush with magical aptitude. The blues believe that with this power comes a certain responsibility and so members of the blue flight can often be found in positions policing and monitoring the use of magic by non-dragons. Examples: Kalec with Anveena (which was the Sunwell) Madrigosa in the Sunwell. Balacgos with his cube. Arcanagos with Karazhan. Azuregos with the Scepter of the Shifting Sands and Eldarath. Tyri with the Nether Drakes.
4.3 Xenophobic: As said above, several Blue Dragons enjoy solitude or, atleast, keep their lairs and affairs away from mortal’s eyes. Most members of the blue flight are a almost xenophobic, keeping to their territories and maintaining their own studies without interference. This fact is overall supported by the obvious reason that most (if not all) blue dragons hub are usually hostile or unfriendly (Mazthoril, the Nexus, Azure Dragonshrine, Ruins of Eldre’thas). Source: Thrall opinion in Thrall: Twilight of the Aspects
4.4 Intellectual-types: Among the dragonflight, the Blue ones are the associated with inventiveness and brilliance. The typical intellectual type. The blue dragonflight is focused on the pursuit of ever greater power and knowledge. They appear to enjoy debates – for example, to choose an Aspect they held a debate between the two – and highly value intelligence (and posses of magical power).
4.5 Society: Currently the Blue Dragonflight is disbanded, so they have no hierarchy. However, in the comic Nexus Point, both Tyri and Kalec talk against Arygos (the heir of Malygos) as if they are talking with an equal. Same goes with Kalec talking against Azuregos (a wyrm likely way older than Kalec himself). Teralygos himself spoke against Kalecgos even after he was elected as an Aspect. Kalec refused to follow Malygos’s Nexus War. It is likely that all blue dragons serve their own Aspect with roughly equal standing, although there are some ancient dragons who are considered authority figures simply due to their great knowledge and mastery of magic. Nomenclature: Members of the blue dragonflight most often have names ending in "gos" for males, or "gosa" for females. Sometimes synonyms of the word "blue", or terms relating to spellcasting find their way into their names as well.
4.6 Morality: Their attitude towards common sense morality is a bit shady and overall leaves a lot of space for your own character development… However, considering their care for magical artifacts, they are concerned with some type of magic order – abuse of magic is bad, mantain balance and harmony in Azeroth is something they seek (“magic must be regulated and controlled”;). Most of the blue dragon reasons to interact with the mortals are caused by an abuse of magic: the Nexus War, Balacgos creating his cube, Arcanagos moved to Karazhan after he sensed dark magic, Kalec looking after Anveena and so on. Overall, i’d argue they are dutyful and lawful – but such an attitude doesn’t always maintain a consideration for human life. This duty, of course, conflicts with their joyful personality: they are rather egocentric or atleast attached to their own individuality (Thrall’s opinion on Kalec in Twilight of the Aspects). This is likely their contraddiction.
4.7 Age: Remember: blue dragons are young. They were wiped 10,000 years ago and they had to spawn the flight once again. If compared to other dragons, your speciemen is likely to be younger. Given the models of the drakes we do have, i suggest you make him a drake. Whelp or dragon is a secondary option. Avoid wyrm – most people will just think you are doing it over the top. I strongly advise against going above, say, 2,000 or 3,000 years old.
Lifespan (fanon): Whelp - 1-5 Years. (source: Wrathion in Legion is a drake already) Drake - 6 Years. Dragon - 11+ Years (source: Awbee, a whelp from WoW Classic, has become a dragon in WoD!) Wyrm: ?? ____________

4.8 Relationships: Blue Dragons appear to be rather selective in their relationships – they see their bounds as personal and they require a certain level of “involvement” (=sharing a common view?). I’d argue that the Kalec-Tyri-Anveena triangle is the closest thing we have to see how dragons do get involved into affections. We even have the Azuregos-Anara relationship (is canon as far as i know). Tyri thinks of Kalec as a rather capable dragon and speaks highly of him. With Anveena, Kalec begins to develop a great affection towards her. It doesn't start all of a sudden but it is a relationship that grows with time, their bond increases as they share trials togheter. We also have that Jaina-Kalec thing. This is more immediate and straightforward. But yeah... Let's consider an other topic, shall we? Azuregos and Anara. In the quest “Easy is Boring”, when the player questions the wyrm’s choice, Azuregos says: “But you're wrong. We have a deeper connection than that. Anara and I, we're involved.” I’d argue that, as for most things, blue dragons value what they see as virtue or what allows them to connect deeper with their partner; over other traits, even physical. Then, in the War of the Ancients, we also have a description of Krasus (Korialstrasz) courting Alexstrasza. Basically, he flied: he had to demonstrate he had the strenght to… You understand right? Anyway, i’m sure you wont be doing ERP with your dragon – but this is helpful because it shows how relationships are usually selected among dragons: talents and affinity… In most cases. This is not always the case. After you kill Saragosa, Malygos becomes enraged (apparently he really cared about her: “Saragosa! What has become of you?!” Also remember: dragons can’t breed any longer. Therefore you wont have a dragon family – unless you had a whelp of your own already.
4.9 Disbanded Flight: Freedom! Kalec disbanded the Blue Dragonflight (Damn you! Well, i never liked him anyway) and is now dating a mortal woman. Disgrace upon him! However, the point here being you no longer have an Aspect that gives you orders. You are completely free: this is the only race – along with pandaren – that doesn’t have any real authority any longer. You are free! What are you going to do? (See section 7)
4.10 Existential Crisis? Your character likely had an existential crisis. Since Deathwing’s fall, you lost your purpose in the world: this is the Age of Mortals. What will you do? You likely have two ways, of course: one is to follow your original path: to use your talents at the service of Azeroth’s balance and order. Surely, this is what the other flights are still doing and, to an extent, is your very moral duty. The other one, however, is to follow your own path – your kind has fullfilled your purpose anyway. Do you have any secret wish? Punching a penguin in the face while heading to the Argent Tournament, perhaps? Now you can do that! You wanted to visit Stranglethorn Vale? Well, why not? In other words, the choice is yours to make! Keep in mind your past. This is not something you are likely proud of: your family and your similars have been wiped out completely and there is no way you will regenerate them. A few more informations about this existential crisis could be taken from a few books: “Dawn of the Aspects” and the incomming expansion (Legion) where a remaining brood of the flight will be encountered in the Broken Isles. Apparently, some of them have lost an huge amount of innate arcane magic and feel way weaker than before.
Perhaps you may even have to throw out of the window some of your very values (expecially if you were a supporter of Malygos during the Nexus War).
5. REPUTATION: Other factions and you!
You are free. So the Blue Dragon opinion as a whole is not so relevant. However, surely you heard of a few faction and their deeds:
5.1 The other dragonflights: we are all under the Wyrmrest Accord. Amusingly enough, we don’t know a lot about Blue Dragonflight’s relationship with, say, bronze or green dragons. We can argue that they are overall respectful of each other – they try not to trepass each other’s domain and are fine at each other. Red dragons on the other hand are quite an interesting case for you. They are the cause of your Aspect’s death – Malygos died and it’s their fault. However, Kalecgos – the successor of Malygos – allied with them. At the very same time, they are the cause of the flight’s existance: Krasus is the one who saved the last eggs of blue dragons during the War of the Ancients. Also, all dragons stood togheter in the Wyrmrest Temple, making a last stand against Deathwing and the Orb of Unity still stands. What's your stance towards the red dragons? That depends upon your personality.
You may wish to consider Wrathion’s case. He murdered his own people – the very black dragons that hunted you for centuries – however he’s always a black dragon. What do you think of this uncorrupted dragon?
5.2 Dalaran. This is important. They played a role in Malygos’s downfall and your flight tried to exterminate them. However, such an idea is now long gone and Kalec even resides within the Kirin Tor. The Focusing Iris – the most powerful blue dragon device ever created – resides within Dalaran. Furthermore: it appears that, when Kalec became an Aspect, the Kirin Tor gave the blue dragonflight several powerful artifacts to hide within the Nexus Vault. It is likely that a friendly relationship has been established between the azure dragons and the mages. In Legion, Kalecgos becomes an archmage of the Council of the Six It is likely you have friendly relationships with the Kirin Tor.
5.3 The Alliance Rather good, i’d argue. Gnomes, high elves and humans can share several of the blue flight value: intelligence, inventivity, power within limits and rules. As for the highborne, that depends upon your character. Remember that they summoned the demons to Azeroth. They are the cause of Malygos’s madness and ultimate demise. However many years passed…
5.4 The Horde Between neutral and unfriendly, i suppose. The orcs enslaved Alexstrasza long ago and recently took the Focusing Iris for themselves using it for their own ends! Surely you should keep an eye over such a group… Several forsaken meddle with dark magic and few blood elves still openly use fel magic. On the other hand, blood elves have a deep respect of dragons – atleast Lor’themar and his rangers do in the comic – and, after all, they might share some of your views aswell. A few blood elves have also been seen as members of the blue dragonflight (Magister Keldonus being among them).
5.5 Warlock and Necromancers. Bad. They are a threat to Azeroth’s stability – or so it has been told. Lone warlocks, expecially, are a threat to Azeroth’s balance itself. What about the warlocks who joined the Alliance and the Horde?
5.6 Cultists They are Azeroth’s greatest threat after the Old Gods and the Burning Legion. Your very dragonflight fought the Twilight’s Hammer and surely loathes the Burning Blade. Dark magic is a peril to Azeroth’s balance. They must not be allowed to gain power and influence!
5.7 The Ethereum. Several quests in WoW hint that the Blue Dragonflight had a connection with the ethereum and made an accord between the two. While in Wrath of the Lich King this whole plot was never revealed, in Legion the ethereals make a comeback and attempt to raid the Nexus Vault and take a legendary artifact in order to immerse themselves within the void. Azuregos and the adventurer fight them back. It is likely that the relationship between the two have become extremely hostile. Apparently, they made an accord with Malygos which allowed the ethereals to take a few dangerous artifacts within the Nexus Vault.

Yes – it has been debated to death. You can choose not to hide your identity. However, i’d advise to hide it. Mostly for an OOC reason: you don’t want to turn your role-playing into an endless debate with most players about your concept’s avaiability. Of course, at the starting it looks quite cool: i’ll make you change your minds! However after the fifth guy you encounter that questions your RP even before you do anything, you’ll likely get annoyed wont you? But, should they come to know you are a dragon after you RPed with them, they shall say: “Oh, yeah. He was a good buddy after all. Maybe dragon role-playing isn’t bad as i thought.” As for a few IC reasons, here are the following: there are a few dragon hunters around. And also cultists. Without counting the fact that most humans may be distrustful of your kind (you claim to be a giant, winged lizard!) and even hostile. Also most mages of Stormwind hate the Blue Dragonflight (a few of them have been kidnapped by the blues). What if they still want to avenge their family? Be careful, your identity is precious – expecially because you are alone! At the very same time, you will be allowed to keep your own agenda – you can, for example, train the mortals in your very ideals. It is up to mortals to upkeep the balance and the order of magic now that the blues are gone.
6.2RP-Battles
The location. Where are you fighting? Because if you are fighting in, say, Stormwind, then you can’t turn into a dragon in the city. Guards and SI:7 agents will come to hunt you down. Gryphons shall aswell. In other words, into a city you are incapacitated to reveal your dragon form. Same applies in other circumstances. If you turn into a dragon – you will reveal your true form. If there is anyone around you know, they shall know of your identity. Discrection is the key! When would you reveal your dragon form into a fight? Most likely, when you know no one would notice you – or if you are already in such a form. Imagine: a lone warlock travels in Winterspring. You are there – a random pilgrim who is stalking the warlock. As he notices the annoying figure and tries to remove it by force, you begin to change your form… So – if anyone is fighting a dragon – try to find a safe location where you have the upper hand! Then again, remember: power doesn’t equate to invincibility. Dragons have several weaknesses, the most notable being vulnerable in the back of their head (mentioned in Twilight of the Aspects). There are examples of dragons being killed by expert warriors: Arygos got stabbed in the back of his head. Kalrigos was vanquished by a rogue (see below). Onyxia was resilient to most human weapons but was vulnerable to elven swords. Therefore, a dragon’s skin is vulnerable to such weapons, or enchanted blades.
Main article: http://scaleaccord.webs.com/apps/forums/topics/show/13438895-lore-and-interpretation-blue-dragons-abilities In most fights blue dragons don’t use bare strenght to battle mortals (like, say, a red dragon does) but rather use spells and fly from afar. They are cautious and highly strategical. We have several examples of this. We know that usually they don’t like fighting. Even the ones that are hostile to mortals may not like to enter in battle. For example, Azuregos was a neutral world boss NPC. Malygos was not attacking the raid group himself until the Focusing Iris had been tampered.
From the RPG: Blue dragons are not cruel beasts, preferring a quick kill for enemies and prey alike. They often use their abilities and spells from afar, camouflaging their approach in fog and other foul weather to gain the advantage of surprise. They are excellent tacticians and attempt to damage or disable any opposing spellcasters before they commit to a physical attack. Blue dragons prefer to fight from the air, using spells and breath weapons to their fullest. Even when an enemy is routed, blues seldom land, instead swooping overhead to further panic their prey. Blues do not land unless there is an immediate need or unless all opposition is destroyed.
This is important. Your own RP is not only about you - there are several other players you want to relate to. When you reveal is when you - literally speaking - let out your authentic self. However, due to the fact that you will be RPing in populated areas, i'd advise to reveal it only to close individuals or other dragon themselves. There are a few events - at times - organized for such a form of RP and everyone who is interested is free to join us.
a. Appearance: That is interesting because blue dragons have a LOT of models where they can get inspiration. Malygos, Kalecgos, Tarecgosa, Azuregos and the common blue dragon model. Then there are three drakes models: Tarecgosa (again), Blue Drake, Azure Drake. You may want to watch these and a few description from such pages before imagining your own.
b. Racial abilities
Dragon's Breath: Blue Dragons use two types of magical breath (frost and arcane) that can be both harmful or helpful (i.e. Sunwell). When used as an offensive attack, frost breath slows the enemies, freezing them, while arcane breath is more chaotic and leaves volatile arcane sparks.
Control over mana and spellweaving: Blue dragons exude an aura that revitalizes their mana, likely they do not suffer much from prolonged spellweaving as other races. Also, several blue dragons in WoW played upon the enemy's mana (when mana drain was a thing). Several whelps used that against you in Mazthoril and Azuregos himself a spell named manastorm, a blizzard-like spell that drains mana. Similar abilities are displayed in game by Darkmoon Card: Blue Dragon and then Presence of Tarecgosa. See also the unchained magic of Sindragosa: "Inflicts an arcane malediction on the target, causing any spells cast to result in a backlash of Arcane power after 5 sec. Multiple spellcasts by the afflicted target will intensify the backlash."
Magic Rune: azure drakes and Malygos have runes on themselves. This is an interesting trait that appears to derive from the Nexus. It is likely an indication of arcane magic affinity. It should also empower them.

6.5 The other players There are a few questions that rise up here. If i am a dragon and i am a loner, why would i interact with mortal races? As i said above (section 4), you would interact with mortals to keep an eye of them, making sure that they don't mess things up (again). Expecially due to such a reason, you may be inclined to join a few guilds. A green dragon could work alongside other druids and a blue one would likely be part of the Kirin Tor.
How do i prevent a certain amount of prejudice that starts before we do RP? You can't. That is why i suggest a lot of discretion. Avoid to write such a thing in your MRP and show it to the ones RPing a common character only when is necessary. It is very likely to be a rational choice IC aswell - few 'chosen ones' know of your true form. That being said, you are not forced to stay out of your dragon form when you should not. For example, if a bandit is chasing you in Borean Tundra - what is the risk for you to reveal your true form? Of course you should by all means vanquish the bandit. Or you may just wish to fly around in the Tundra (or Winterspring or any of such locations).
Being a behemoth in an humanoid form. Being a reptile behemoth in an humanoid form is not so easy - you may miss your lair - or perhaps just fresh meat. What was you favourite meal again? Hyenas? Mammoths? Selecting a few traits of such kind can reveal quite hilarous at times. You may miss flying; you are a lord of the sky after all!
Your size, your powers. The most tricky one. You are powerful indeed. Expecially with magic - this might be a problem. However, there are valuable alternatives to an extremely overpowered wyrm. The first one is being a drake - a young version of a dragon. You still have a valuable amount of power - of course - but nothing that prevents you from being defeated or risk death even against a single adventurer. The other one is being a somehow weakened dragon. This way a part of your magic has been stolen from you by an evil cult - perhaps you may wish to find it back and that is why you hide among mortals! The third option is to role-play a normal and common dragon. This requires more skill but is indeed doable - no one is forcing you against this. Also note - most blue dragons dislike open fights. Irrational violence is not really their thing - they rather avoid a fight if they can. Keep it in mind! An other way to role-play a powerful dragon is that other dragon forbids you violence - should you attack anyone other dragons would get pissed at you - secret intelligence is relevant and you can't compromise it. This works very well with the other dragonflights - less with the blues (due to the fact they are disbanded).
6.6 Dragonsworn Traditionally, the most well known dragonsworn are druids in service of Ysera; that is not to say that all druids who walked the Emerald Dream were chosen to serve the green dragonflight, but many were taken into Ysera’s service in the thousands of years they slept. The bronze dragonflight also have several dragonsworns. Most of the typical servants of each flight have an occupation that matches the interests of the flight: Blue dragons favor talented magi, but a trustworthy priest or paladin might also gain their interest. Of course, some people are chosen simply for their dedication. In the blue flight most dragonsworns were mage hunters. All potential dragonsworn show some magical proclivity, though. Usually they are able to learn Draconic. A patron dragon, who will train the dragonsworn throughout her career, must select the dragonsworn. This patron is responsible for ensuring the dragonsworn remains loyal and uses her abilities and teachings properly. Known dragonsworns are: Baristolth of the Shifting Sands(Anachronos), Dahlia Suntouch (red), Garek(Krasus), Jonathan the Revelator (Nozdormu). Crevan is what looks like a blue dragonsworn (Cyanigosa). He is found in the mage manga.
6.7 Help, i've been found out! If such a thing happen - you have two ways of dealing it. The subtle way - Someone noticed a draconic aura? It's just an artifact you keep as a memento of slaying a blue dragon in the Nexus War. If they cast a scrying spell on it and come back to you as the 'source' of the aura, point out that since the artifact has been in your possession for so long, of course it's going to detect as yours. The artifact could be your very scale, by the way. The bold way - you reveal yourself Onyxia-style and basically get killed (or teleport away). This is an issue as your character will be recognized next time you meet them.
Then again, it is no fun if you don't leave a few "hints". Personally, i use a very blue dragon-ish stave on my dragon and a magic rune as a tattoo.
6.8 Playing upon your role. Most blue dragons, as said before, are attracted to everything that pertains arcane magic. They do research, study and experiment upon arcane artifacts and so on. If you seek a way to RP with other races, you may consider playing this card: perhaps there is an event that involves arcane magic? You should make sure the artifacts will not be used against Azeroth. Or, perhaps, you are simply fascinated by this new magical object! If you need an excuse to approach someone in role-playing, this is your best option, really.
6.9 Changing race, but you are still the same! - courtesy of Dark Dragons can transmute into most races... And they do! While it is uncommon, dragons at time take more than a single identity. If you screw up and reveal your secret identity you can change your form and try again! Furthermore, you could take a different identity when you are representing a cause that some of your mortal friends may not share. This is very helpful for it allows a great amount of interaction and character growth. You may even role-play on both the Alliance and the Horde with the same character! Avoid abusing this, on the other hand: no one likes a character that manages five identities at the same time and most dragons appear to focus on a single form (Korialstrasz being some type of elf, Kalec an half-elf, Tyri an elf and so on).

8. F.A.Q. - What has been asked in the thread?
1. Q.Is dragon role-play a good thing to do? (re-written from the original: "Sorry... Dragon role-play?" of Luceous). A. As i said, i consider this topic discussed already in other forum threads. You can look at section 7.
2. Q. Is there a dragon RP community? A. Yes, there is one indeed. We usually hold formal meetings once every month. We name ourselves the Scalesworn Accord. I redirect you to the useful links and threads. On Alliance, there is a channel: /join dragonRP
3. Q. How would you go about naming your character? Would you pick a plain name or have your name shown with gosa/gos? - courtesy of Ikaros. You may want to avoid unnecessary drama or OOC conflict. You could use names that hint towards your true identity (ex. Silagos being Silastar, Kalecgos being Kalec) or even invent a new name yourself (Borel being Korialstrasz, Katrana being Onyxia), depending upon the amount of secrecy/privacy you seek to mantain. You can mantain your true name... That may provoke unwanted reactions from certain close-minded players, on the other hand. What is worse than spending two hours of your time discussing why you should or should not RP a dragon?
4. Q. In Legion: Stellagosa claims that the blue dragons have lost their magical power. Is it true? No. It is not. I will not stress this enough: she was not referring to the whole blue dragonflight; just to her own brood! In fact, we see a lot of blue dragons, in Legion, who make a comeback and display a vast amount of arcane magic. Kalecgos has become a member of the Council of the Six (i am sure magical skill is required for that!) and Azuregos is seen making a display of arcane magic in the Nexus, during the artifact questline. So yes, whatever that quote was meant to be, dragons still have a lot of arcane power!
